Bright smiles on a rainy day - St. Augustine wedding photography

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…It’s about learning to dance in the rain.”

Michelle and Wesley planned an outside ceremony in a waterfront backyard where the bride grew up. An idyllic spot along Salt Run in St. Augustine with a view of the lighthouse and Anastasia Island. Michelle recounted many childhood memories of playing in the water here and enjoying being outside, so this spot was a must. The weather forecast looked bleak a few days before the April wedding date, but our couple maintained a positive attitude and rented a tent. We managed to get from the backyard to downtown St. Augustine for a first look and some couple's photos at the Lightner Museum building before returning to the tent for a fun ceremony performed by the bride's Aunt. The weather cleared for an incredible sunset, and we had a fantastic time creating unique images on this day. Michelle and Wesley were upbeat and fun-loving and didn't let a few raindrops slow them down. It was a great day, and I know our bride ad groom will have a life of good luck after this memorable day. Please take a look at some of their wedding photos.
