Family Portraits on Georgia’s Famous Cumberland Island - Plum Orchard Mansion

When Matt contacted the studio and expressed his desire for someone to accompany his family of three to the Plum Orchard Estate on Cumberland Island in Georgia, I was thrilled. Plum Orchard is an 1898 Georgian Revival Mansion built by the Carnegie family and donated to the National Park years ago. It is situated in an isolated oak grove overlooking the marshes and woodlands of the barrier island. It's a fantastic spot for photos, and despite dodging rainstorms and sweating in the August heat, we had a blast. Check out a few of the destination family photos below.
