Surprise proposal ideas in St. Augustine - Castillo De San Marcos National Monument

Surprise Engagement in St. Augustine - She said Yes

If you want to propose in The Nation's Oldest City and wonder where a great spot would be, check out this recent surprise engagement. Recently, Nathan asked Jess for her hand in marriage at the famous fort in St. Augustine. The Castillo De San Marcos National Monument is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States, at over 315 years old, it's the oldest structure in St. Augustine and an incredible place to pop the question. The Castillo de San Marcos is a large Spanish stone fortress built to protect and defend Spain's claims in the New World. It is an imposing icon here in downtown St. Augustine. It was a perfect afternoon in St. Augustine, and Nathan and I planned everything out so I would be waiting on site. Jess was surprised and said yes; then we did a short engagement session on the ground of this historic place.
